Mama has a new lens!

Well I got a new lens a few weeks ago but just didn't have the time to work on it and see the power of it.
So I took Katie out the last few days and really gave it a work out while she gave me a work out.
I also got to spend the evng with a good friend and her daughter as well and so here is a showcase of what this sweet lens and the girls are capable of..

My little sweetheart!

The kids had a bookfair at school this week. What this is is the kids bring in books they are no longer reading and can trade them for new ones.
Well DS decided he wanted to take a pile of books to school and I thought he was being a bit greedy lol!!!
Well he came home yesterday afternoon and had a book for his sister, and one for his baby brother and one for his older brother and he even picked one out for me.
I was really touched by the thoughtfulness of my little guy!!
Here is a picture I took while practicing lighting outdoors in the evening!!
We went garage saling this morning and he picked out some spiderman gloves and so they of course are a part of the picture. My little spiderman hero!

2 Wks Even

This little man wasn't quite so little lol. I would say this is my biggest newborn to date that I have had the honor of capturing!
After he went to sleep we got some amazing captures from his precious face down to his chubby lil toes!!

A Girls Day Out

What fun we had yesterday afternoon.
This bride's friend planned a surprise for her that was wonderful and fun!!
I would love to have a friend like this and have a girls day out like it.
The day started out with shopping and getting their hair and makeup done and then a photo session with me and off for supper and a girls night out!!
It sounds like they had a blast!!

There is a trendy new spot in town for todays babies and children.
Moms will love the selection!!
I stopped in the other day and loved everything I saw in there.
There were the most adorable raingear sets that included an adorable hanger that comes with the raincoat. You can even get a matching bag to go with the gear.
The sizes start way down at Newborn and go up to early teen sizings!!
The big names such as Mexx,Blu, Point Zero to name a few...

Also for those that have been wondering what to do about the whole water bottle issues that have occured there are these new bottles here that they carry in various sizes.

I know since this whole issue came up I either spend a fortune on individual water bottles or I am simply not drinking my water.
